After having a child and getting married to the love of my life, writing my book, Make Yourself a little Bit Famous, is the third thing of which I am most proud. Actually, it’s probably first, but don’t tell them that.
In it, I share all of my media training; all of my experience of taking part in panel discussions or chairing them; and every scrap of speaking support I can give. Because I want you to do those things to the best of your ability, and a good starting point is having support and knowledge. You’re welcome.
Tip #9
Writing a blog is a great way to get the most from your efforts – and you get to create content that doesn’t require you working/thinking too hard. Many people struggle to think of ‘blog content’ so why stress when it’s there in front of you? For example:
- You might have been part of a live event with audience Q&A, reflect a question from an audience member that would be of interest to your followers.
- For media appearances, just rip off one of the interviewer’s questions and answer it all over again (mentioning your star turn of course!).
- Use the theme of the event or reason you were being interviewed as a talking point for your blog.
